What You’ll Do
As an integrated portion of overall growth strategy, we anticipate you will display a high level of competency defining strategy, campaigns, and tactics across paid advertising channels. This will enable you to execute these campaigns, as well as, measure and report the effectiveness to the team. The Paid Media Specialist at Evenbound is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple paid media campaigns spanning various platforms. You’ll work with our account strategists and program managers to drive paid media services strategy, which means you'll handle everything from campaign builds, to reporting, to troubleshooting, to campaign adjustments. This position requires that you work closely with the Evenbound client-facing team —  assisting team members, providing in-depth direction, and ensuring that tasks are completed quickly and efficiently. 

Our Paid Media Specialist has a clear understanding of paid media advertising, from Pay Per Click to Social and beyond. You can handle all of these tasks with ease:

  • Keyword research and management
  • Audience research and building
  • Conversion tracking and troubleshooting
  • Analytics and tracking
  • Campaign strategy and build
  • Budget pacing and cost management
  • Landing page performance analysis
  • Campaign reporting


What You’ve Done
You have likely worked at a marketing agency or in an environment where you dealt with multiple clients at the same time. Ideally you have at least 3 years of experience with Paid Search/Paid Social:

  • Experience managing multi-channel paid media campaigns.
  • Experience with advertising tools - Google Ads (Search, Display, Performance Max, Shopping, Youtube is a bonus), Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads Manager. Experience with keyword research and the ability to present campaign examples utilizing tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMRush, and other relevant tools.
  • A comprehensive grasp of Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and HubSpot Ads tool and reporting tools, bonus if you have a strong knowledge of SEO. 
  • Knowledge of optimization techniques – keyword adjustments, bid strategies, targeting; familiar and comfortable using audience, location, and device bid adjustments.
  • Ability to develop testing structures and compile client-facing deliverables based on performance.
  • Understanding of tagging and conversion tracking solutions; as well as attribution models.
  • Familiar with the process of creating and optimizing landing pages for best campaign performance.
  • Should hold relevant certifications across platforms.
  • Data modeling and statistical analysis are a plus.
  • Landing page building and maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience participating in reporting and strategy calls with clients is a plus.

  • Work where you want, when you want. At Evenbound, we believe we work best when we set our own productive schedules. That flexibility extends to where we work, too. While we have an office right in downtown Grand Haven that we love (there's a coffee shop right downstairs!), our team works remotely most of the time. There's no weekly "in the office" quota to meet — we work to get work done, however that works for you
  • Regular team meet-ups. Since the Evenbound team is primarily remote, we work hard to schedule team meet-up opportunities annually.
